Story

I am not sure how I feel about it. Playing in a library seems kind of cool but at the same time it's seems really stupid.

Anyone listen to these guys? I havent ever herad a note.

yes. maybe so. For some reason, NPR was talking about them yesterday so I decided to look up the story. Wondered if anyone on here was a fan. I can't think of any previous discussion of them.

Watched that Billy Macy jernt on Showtime last night, and thought the theme song was clearly the best thing about it. Turns out the theme song is by The High Strung.

Hasn't Chad been a big fan of these guys for some time?

Anyway, YSIPLZKTHXBAI as much of their stuff to me as possible.

I'll try and up some later tonight Bob. I got hooked 5-6 years ago when they opened for Bob Pollard. Speaking of the avuncular one, have you heard Space City Kicks?

Agreed. I like it almost as much as the B.Spaceships Zero to 99. If it were scaled down to 15 tracks or so, it would be dern near perfect.

Bob - the track you're looking for is on Moxie Bravo which I need to dig out of a box. I even tried a search but came up empty. Give me a few days, but in the meantime I give you These Are Good Times (debut) which was on my external HD.

Amazon-
Imagine Syd Barrett fronting The Who. Over the top instrumental prowess, clever lyrics, tight arrangements, and utterly creative. This one still shines with Jim Diamond's white hot production throughout. Marvel at how much these guys are an un-discovered genius of abstracted power pop

Thanks, M-Cap!

What are your thoughts on Napoli returning to the AL West so soon?

Good pickup for the Rangers, bad for the A's. He'll go yard at least 30x in that hitters ballpark.

Napoli's lifetime numbers at Rangers Ballpark -- .292/.394/.573
