As usual, Cary picked my Cd selection for the day.
Today, one of the things he grabbed as an epic "Alternative Music" sampler that Epic put out in 1990 called:
Theodore: An Alternative Music Sampler
It's not great, but pretty good, with tracks from:
Kate Bush
Poi Dog Pondering
Living Colour
Public Enemy
3rd Bass
Social D
and
The Rave Ups
in particular brings me back to my last semester at University of Missouri, when I was hanging out with our friend onebrownjeff and playing in a band with him and his friend Terry. Good times... really good times.
Getting drunk and peeing with Pamela in the backyard on Terry's 21st birthday (diid you ever figure why the hell she spent all that money on the Epiphone for him?!?!).
That is all going down memory lane. Sorry to bore those of you who aren't Jeff. I just had to share.

I've recently noticed that all the unfortunate events in the lives of blues singers all seem to rhyme... I think all these tragedies could be avoided with a good rhyming dictionary.
