As I type, I'm on my first listen. Comparing it to the other influential band that waited 15+ years to release a record in 2013, My Bloody Valentine, they both still retain their signature sounds, but I think I get more enjoyment out of Mazzy Star. They just make really fucking cool music.

I've listened a couple times and really like it. Has maybe a bit more twang than the older stuff.

Like it, but wish it was less acoustic.

What's the deal with this? Is it a one-off?

I didn't know anything about the reunion 'til I saw they're on tour this fall.
