Both of these bands are the same one guy - Kevin Ryan (who also write the excellent Recording the Beatles book). Apparently, he plays and sings everything.
I discovered him at Garageband and have not heard a damn thing about him since, which is really tragic, because the guy has the complete package. He writes amazing songs, comes up with incredible arrangements, and can execute it all himself. One of those rare finds.
