I'm listening to "One Chord Wonders" on the Stiff box set now, and it's melting my face. I think I need this. Is it still in print?

Excellent record. The album version of "Wonders" is a lot heavier/muddier than the Stiff single version. My fave on the album is "Up On The Roof". Depending on what version of the LP you get, you also get "Gary Gilmore's Eyes".

It's amazing. I believe it was re-released in 2002. You should be able to find it.

Are you sure I didn't burn that for you at some point? I thought I did or maybe it was F4DF. It was somewhere in my top 50 listmania. I think its the 2nd best punk album ever, only surpassed by the first Clash album.

One might be able to find it pretty easily if they are as clever as a cactus

Nope. Never heard it just "One-Chord Wonders" and, now that I think of it, I've heard "Gary Gilmour's eyes" too. but nothing else.

I'll pick it up at this little store that I like, as they'd probably be the most likely ones to have it. If not, Borders prolly will.

i bought it because of all the praise that billy et al heaped upon it; while i'm not as blown away by it as they are it's definitely worth picking up.

Every now and then a board member will surprise the hell out of me by not knowing of an album that I consider a classic.

NOT a knock on PopTodd at all. It's because he's so well rounded musically that I was surprised he had never heard it.
