I'm celebrating Dumpjack style tonight, although I probably won't listen to much Old Monger tunes.

I got the jug size while at CVS Pharmacy today. It cost me $8 with my value card.

Sipin some beers right now - just did some massive housework.

swapped to beds between rooms, put up 2 new fans, a new light fixture, moved an armoire, built a shelf, attached it to a wall and put a new flatscreen on it for the bedroom, hung a "daily organizer system" in the kitchen and a huge mirror in the dining room.

trying to dabble a little in white wines with the weather turning warmer. never been much of a fan, but so far i've been digging sauvignon blancs, specifically from the marlborough region of NZ.

tonight had a spanish albarino that was really good. grilled up some nice herbed chicken legs and thighs, some zuke and squash, some cous cous...played the new wilco and a nice boot of a wilco show from dc last year on the back deck and now i'm pretty hammered. 9 o'clock and probably 30 minutes from hittin the hay. i gotta say it was a good day.

I had a 22oz mug of Budweiser while eating at a BBQ joint with my family.

I'm going to drink this later tonight at a surprise birthday party.

still drinking since about 3pm today, just white wine, table variety. Whole week consumed of putting together a 6 year old and little sister 3, duo birthday party with 20 kids, their parents, backyard homemade county fair games banners etc.-> the kicker, after the first hour a biblical tropical down pour for the remainder of the day, all wet, muddy, parents and kids under cover or in the house, a mess, a blast, a drunk I am.

I drank two generic whiskey cokes and several Keystone Light Keg cups beside one of my beers. I also smoked Marijuana for the first time in like 14yrs. I'm drinking one of my beers now after returning home. It was creepy, yet awesome being the oldest person there.

Got a party tonight. Girl throwing it told me last night...at about 3 AM after a few too too many that she spent close to $400 on booze for the thing. Not sure what all she got, but I feel confident I will be drinking at least my share of something before morning comes. And damn, have a Sunday event with an open bar from 6-11. I'm fairly confident Monday will be a sick day.
