wish the pitch was as popular as craft beer & lonely friday nights around here. hardly 13th in the world, but always fun to witness US dickslap el tri, be it friendly or qualifier. officially forever gay for donovan. missed my blues loss to everton yesterday but confident they'll stay in champ league qualifying form through season's end. ready for a proper breakout season for oscar, hope to see demba mask given the opp to attack more. i like the looks of mourinho's 4-2-3-1 & even the 4-3-3 to provide for more attacking. great career backfielder but wouldn't mind seeing an ashley cole transfer for younger talent. his play fucks me off all too often. he brings value but i'm totally cool with another gruesome terry injury. just naturally hate his mug.
other bpl thoughts: when will michu leave endearing swansea? not a gunners fan but i like arsene and am excited to see chemistry & success for ozil/podolski/giroud. stacked for sure, but why isn't moyes playing ugawa at all? i really really really like sergio aguerro and wish he'd go to stamford bridge-i'd give up ramires.

going to try to watch more bundesliga & less la liga this year. serie a & their egregious racism can suck it. why can't they hide it better like other leagues? meatheads are meatheads but more so in italy.

talk to me?

I'm excited for the Liverpool match tomorrow. Hope they can maintain their place at the top of the table....any hopefully it won't be another squeaker.

I watch a ton of soccer. In fact, I prefer to watch soccer over football now unless one of my "home" teams is playing (U. of Washington, Seahawks).

I find myself drawn more to La Liga than the EPL though, but both are great. I don't watch a lot of Serie A or the Bundisliga.

I am in my third year of Fantasy EPL. I am in a league that was set up by the president of the homebrew club I belong to here in Lincoln. Most of the people in the league played on a recreational league team sponsored by a local cigar bar, and there were more than a few people playing in that league that are affiliated with the American Outlaws. They are ran out of Lincoln, and it is a pretty big Soccer town.
I tend to root for Man City when watching EPL, but my true favorite team is Sheffield Wednesday.
I haven't been able to watch as much EPL as I did in previous years when it was Fox Sports and ESPN2, but I'm really looking forward to the start of the Champions League season on Tuesday. I will definitely be watching matches that day, since I have the day off.

DHR - huge soft spot for the reds-quietly root for them & rodgers 'til they;re in west london. decent start w/out suarez, who i hope can keep his shit clean, but moses should turn out to be a good signing. and you can't not like stephen g. or i can't.

marco - i think the pace & theatre of usa football kills it for me. i stay tuned to KSU & my KC Cheeves in the periphery, but i can't sit idly & watch a full game. much of it bores me. but i will sadly watch a full 90 of villa-sunderland if it's on & i gots the time. what squads do you root for, btw?

promo - i still haven't taken the fantasy plunge yet, but your league sounds pretty cool. and to your point re: fox/espn coverage, i think nbc has done a horrible job transitioning EPL coverage. i quite liked fox soccer channel's coverage & wynalda/barton's banter - plus daily 9pm highlights trumped sportscenter on most nights. i mean where else can i learn how the kashima antlers are doing in the J-league? weekly uefa re-runs were pretty bitchin, too.
