There's a high probability that I'll be in your damp city next month -- December 19-20th to be specific. We're in the process of acquiring a new client whose employees are based out of Woodinville and want me to conduct their orientation meeting in Redmond. Since it's on the company's funds, I figure I can arrive a day early and roam the countryside looking for Obnerites and CMJ'ers.

Kabob has promised strippers and cocaine. What else ya got to offer? ;)

I'll be around although I can't compete with Kabob's promise of strippers and cocaine. How about Crystal Meth and a Quiet Riot cover band?

I forgot that cocaine and strippers are old-hat for you LA types. Instead I can offer you some pretentious microbrew, gray skies, infinite hippies, and an exciting evening with the Fremont Troll.

Chehalis is about halfway between Seattle and Portland...about 1 and a quarter hours south of Seattle. Not far from Olympia but really a small hick town.

My mom & stepfather live in Chehalis. They used to live in Spokane. I've been there before, and oh my, oh my.

Just wondering so I can plan the logistics of my trip. Not really looking forward to Chehalis (esp. if it's anything like Spokane), but looking forward to Seattle... I just don't know how I'm going to get to and from each city.

(Sorry to hijack your post, T!)

Oh dear. I don't understand why my mom moved there. I'm just going to convince her to come to Seattle instead.

At least Spokane merits a band name (albeit a very quiet, rather depressing band). Never heard of a band called Chehalis, if there is one.
