People need to get a life.

Monday Night Football viewers complained about the spot's sexuality, particularly at an hour (9 p.m. Eastern time) when children were watching.

Also, some objected to the racially stereotyped overtones of a white woman seducing a powerful black man.

Notice that ABC affiliates and ESPN are hyping this mucho? Think it has anything to do with getting people to watch Desperate Housewives?

I'm no wconvinced ALL controversy is pre-fab.

That's why I'm going to make a 9/11 video game, and its gonna sell SOOO many copies.

Just, the very idea of a woman of one race, with a man of another, that is twisted. It's... It's... It's miscegenation.

And, the Great State of Alabama will rue the day they took the miscegnation law of the books. (That was fairly recent, eh, Senator?)

I'm not for censorship, but it certainly isn't something I'd want my 5-year-old to see (and he does occasionally watch football with me). Maybe a warning before it or something would have been the answer.

Edit: To be clear, it has nothing to do with the white/black issue, but instead the nude woman and sexual overtones.

More like it's about getting more people to watch "MNF" - which has had pretty much flat ratings for years now. Plenty of people are already watching "Housewives".

Tell you the truth Monty, it wouldn't surprise me one bit if this were actually still illegal in the eyes of our fair state. The 1901 Constitution is a site to behold, and will take someone with the populist stylings of Huey Long or George Wallace, the political skills of Johnson, Nixon and Clinton and the Jesus0based righteousness of W. to ever fully change it. God that state is fucked up...(but I still love her)
