It's the 10th anniversary, so expectations seem to be pretty big. Lineup is being announced tomorrow at noon. I'm almost certainly going again.

depending on the lineup, same here.

Ang has family quite close, so it's pretty inviting.

Good meeting you Tommy. Hope you're making it home safely...

Bonnaroo was somewhat mediocre for me this year. It was still Bonnaroo, but I didn't really come away with a fond feeling of the weekend. The Sword were really good as were MMJ and Arcade Fire (to be expected). There were no real surprises for me and as always, I didn't see half the smaller bands I intended to.

Good to finally meet you as well, Stu. I'll post the photo later if you are cool with that.

This year for me ended being mainly dedicated to seeing the big bands I knew about or were huge fans of going in, so I didn't get too many surprises either. I was in the pit for both MMJ and The Strokes, got fairly close for Walkmen and Deerhunter, and enjoyed Arcade Fire and Black Keys both immensely from the grass of the What Stage. I ended up checking out about 22 or so bands in all, to varying degrees. The one surprise was actually Ratatat mainly because I didn't expect them to be the late night kind of rave that it turned out to be. I guess I came in thinking it was too cerebral to dance to, but boy I was wrong.

I had a great time as usual, but my feeling now is that unless there is a huge act I haven't seen before or an amazing lineup, this will probably be my last Bonnaroo.

see, I think if I could stay up late enough and didn't have to drive 40 minutes to the lake I could really get the Bonnaroo experience that happens late night. That's when the most exciting stuff happens anyway. Maybe next year I skip the daytime and only come at night...

I'm gonna guess there's something of a height disparity in that photograph.

Nice, Tommy. Like the headband.

Thanks Dave...I wish there were more occasions outside of Bonnaroo where I could rock it.
