I was out of town when this one was posted and never got around to participating...

Trash Can Sinatras - I've Seen Everything
Mellower than the debut but even better imo. It's wuss rock but some of the best and most melodic wuss rock out there.

Lloyd Cole - Bad Vibes
This falls somewhere in the middle of the pack of LC's catalog. In other words, it's really damn good.

Greenberry Woods - Rapple Dapple
Harmony laden indie pop heavily influenced by the Beatles, Beach Boys and Byrds. Sounds like something I'd hate but I really like it. It's a near perfect driving down PCH with the windows open and the stereo cranked summer record.

The Iguanas - S/T
The Iguanas first record mixing latin rhythms with new orleans r&b and roots rock. It's still my favorite of theirs.

Gumball - Super Tasty
Gumball's Don Fleming is best known as a producer for Teenage Fanclub, D Jr, Hole, Sonic Youth, the Posies, and Screaming Trees, but he's a damn fine performer of pop/punk music as well. This album snuck up on in 1993 and remained in heavy rotation for years. Not many seemed to share my enthusiasm for it though as it was a bargain bin staple for ten years or so.

The The - Dusk
Probably their most consistently strong album. I can't remember the last time I listened to it but I played the hell out of it back in '93/'94.

The Muffs - S/T
Nothing earthshattering but the Muffs' debut is a good, fun punk/pop rekkid.

G.W. McLennan - Fireboy
Probably my favorite McLennan solo album. It's worth the price of admission for Surround Me, and Lighting Fires.
A Couple of Live albums:

Loudon Wainwright III - Career Moves
I probably listen to this as much as any LWIII album.

The Pleasure Barons - Live in Las Vegas
The Pleasure Barons are Country Dick Montana, Mojo Nixon and Dave Alvin. Enuff said.
Contradiction - thanks for waiting for my contribution before starting the next one. It was really unnecessary but thanks. Feel free to start the next one anytime.
