for like 10 minutes.
This is early 80s Neil Young. Hmm...
I admit that I like it better than other misguided affairs like over produced "Landing on Water" and RnB lite "Are you Passionate?" But still - In the canon of his records its only essential for the few fuzzed out rockers. I think the song "Shots" is pretty good rock. Pretty misguided on the whole... but while that's what sometimes makes Neil Young interesting, it doesn't make the album good.
From the era (and remember this is right before Trans - his electronic vocoder experiment.) I prefer his acoustic rocker/country "Hawks and Doves" from one year prior. Or Rust Never Sleeps - a classic.
