So get this-- I get a weekly email from a local concert promoter that tells about all the gigs coming up for the next couple of months. Anyhow, the one I got last week said that if you responded to the email with your mailing address, you'd receive something in the mail. They didn't specify what it would be-- could be a cd, tickets to a show, t-shirt, stickers, whatever. Anyhow I got my package in the mail yesterday, and I got two tickets to see Sondre Lerche! I've heard good things about him, but to be quite honest, I'm not real familiar with his music and have no idea what he's like live. Anybody got any info?

I don't always want to be entertained. Sometimes I want to be emotionally moved.

Plus he's cute to look at when your eyes aren't closed enjoying his beautiful music. :)

Good thing I plan on leaving the husband at home and bringing another girlfriend with me!

I put this in the Sufjan Stevens post 'cause I'm an idiot.

And I have nothing valuable to bring to this; I'd just like to bitch for a second.
Last week I was looking around for who that chick is that sings with Sondre on Modern Nature. After not finding it I went to the message board on his site. I asked and I was not pleased with the snippy answers I received. Things like "Look on the album cover" Please. It's 2004 and I'm a 'thief.' And "Why don't you search for it?" Dick.
I searched on their boards and found it, but I've decided that Sondre Lerche fans are way bigger assholes than Creed fans

I am a big fan. Two-Way Monologue is a solid bet to make my Top 10 for 2004.
