You never dissapoint, chuckles!

I had 2 big dos equis' at dinner. If I had more beer I would drink it, but I don't think I want bourbon.

This board makes me feel like I'm too young to be an alcoholic. It's funny too, because when I was 13-19 years old I never had more than 10 drinks. Total. I used to smoke weed everyday and all the time criticized people who drank. Now I drink almost everyday and rarely ever want to get high.

And that's no lie. But it doesn't mean you're an alcoholic, yet.

I personally don't feel like an alcoholic, cause I only drink to excess when i don't have to work, and i never drink at a show until after i'm off stage. But i drink every night, and sometimes alone. Yeah, that's not enough to make me feel like an alcoholic. Sometimes you just want a beer after a long day. Or a six pack. Instead of dinner.

Oh, I'm not passing judgment on anyone.

If there's one thing I've figured out, its that one man's problem is another man's lifestyle.

I didn't feel like you were passing judgement on me. Now am I an alcoholic cause i'm brewing coffee, but I'm thinking about 5:15 p.m. when i can resume my problematic lifestyle?

Three, four, five good beers is perfect. Six+ and I'm usually asking for it, unless it's an all-day thing. I get a very disctinct little message around Beer Five - "one more and you'll be sorry" and if I ignore it, sure enough...

"Heavy Buzz" is ideal. "Stumbling Drunk" is a miserable experience. Stomach churns, I get the spins standing up, and the next 2 days are a writeoff.

This is true.

Despite wanting to be stumbling drunk last night I had no one to drink with so stuck with water. I am a failure as an alcoholic.

I barely get any side effects from heavy drinking -- even at 12+ I don't (or don't remember) get dizzy, puke, or have a hangover the next day. I just always tell people shit that I would much rather keep to myself if I were sober.

Went to the Biscuits game, had a few in my suite, and then found out a buddy was in the suite next to mine, and they had a fine beer supply. Glommed prolly 6 BLs from him in an hour.

I'm about 1/2 drunk - my mouth will be dry when I get up, but no morning vomitting.

By the way, did you say hello to 5 AM for me?

I realize this is a couple years late. And even if it weren't, it's 40 minutes late. But I did say hello for you. Yay, Wednesday night drinking!!

Tonight my friend told me that I have a problem because I wanted to drink another beer. She followed that with asking if she could get some Lortab from me. Yeah. I have a problem.

I don't believe I'm an alcoholic. First off, I don't step foot in any meetings. Second, I believe the difference between an alcoholic and someone like me (drunkard? nah, too harsh. lush? nah, sounds sloppy. opportunist? eh, I'll take it...) is that I never NEED to drink, I just enjoy doing so, plus I really like drinking good beer and good bourbon. Getting tipsy is just a pleasant side effect for me. If I had to be up early, I would not have been out. I'm in the middle of my vacation from school, so I'm taking advantage of that fact. Just because I'm a little girl who can put away a fair amount of booze and handle it at the same time doesn't make me an alcoholic. Booze enthusiasts unite!

P.S. I'm aware of the retarded posts that I author when I've been drinking. Drunk posts are always entertaining, so I just take it as giving you guys something fun to read. Also, at least I have good spelling and grammar while posting said drunken posts.
